Hi I'm Sheryl

I'm a CBT psychotherapist and coach.

I specialise in assessing and treating common mental health difficulties using a person centred CBT therapy approach. I am also experienced in other modalities such as compassion focused therapy (CFT) & acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have over 8 years experience working with clients and helping them reach their therapy goals. 

I work with many presentations but I specialise particularly in social anxiety, low self esteem and improving confidence/ self esteem, eating disorders, body dysmorphia disorder (BDD), general anxiety and panic attacks, relationship difficulties and neurodiversity e.g ADHD, ASD etc....

1:1 Therapy

I provide 1:1 therapy services which can be either online/virtual or face to face in person. 

Sessions are usually 50 minutes- 1 hour. 

I have a person centred and friendly approach yet I am assertive and will help you to reach your goals.

Group therapy & workshops

I am also experienced in delivering group therapy and workshops.

Groups may involve presentation style CBT where certain tools and strategies will be taught. They may also be interactive where individuals will be encouraged to share experiences and connect/ support each other.

Speaking events and presentations

I enjoy public speaking and delivering presentations to groups of people. 

I can teach and support other clinicians including trainee psychological wellbeing practitioners and trainee CBT therapists. 

My main area of interest and experience currently is working with low self esteem and boosting self esteem/ confidence however I can speak about many topics.
